Baseball Cleats

Baseball Cleats are top quality cleats designed for comfort, durability and performance. How cleats look and what they are made of are determined both by the sport and personal preference.

Some of these baseball cleats are metal while others have a molded out-sole, all incorporate proprietary technology.

For instance, all cleats for school and youth baseball leagues must be made of molded plastic. Metal baseball cleats are thin metal rectangles, rather than rounded studs, which provide excellent traction on the hard dirt of a basepath.

In general, athletes playing on harder surfaces, such as artificial turf, need shorter studs on their cleats, while those playing on wet, muddy surfaces need longer cleats. This type of cleats often comes with rubber, hard plastic or even metal studs which can be changed in case of field condition.

Many youth and amateur baseball associations do not allow the usage of metal cleats. Metal cleats also jeopardize the integrity of a field's surface, causing damage to freshly trimmed grass. However, metal baseball cleats are valuable on extremely hard fields where extra traction is necessary.
